Trained as a mechanical engineer, May's career has taken him from managing early-stage beauty marketplace Glamazon, to managing strategy at Cover Genius, and finally to launching Tirtyl - Australia's first range of just-add-water tablet household cleaners and soaps - with his best mate Lachlan Hill.
The Tirtyl team recognise that cleaning products need a do-over. Traditional cleaners and soaps comprise 98% water, but get shipped all over the world, often in plastic bottles. Not only do single-use plastics clog our oceans, shipping water around the world contributes significantly to carbon emissions.
With it's minimalist design and joyful brand, Tirtyl is a breath of fresh air. Their just-add-water products eliminates unnecessary waste without compromising on quality.
