Tirtyl - bringing zero-waste household cleaners to Australian homes

Trained as a mechanical engineer, May's career has taken him from consulting, to managing consumer startups, to leading strategy teams at Cover Genius. In this episode, hear about how May built conviction to go all-in on building Tirtyl, Australia's first range of just-add-water household cleaners and soaps!

Trained as a mechanical engineer, May's career has taken him from managing early-stage beauty marketplace Glamazon, to managing strategy at Cover Genius, and finally to launching Tirtyl - Australia's first range of just-add-water tablet household cleaners and soaps - with his best mate Lachlan Hill.

The Tirtyl team recognise that cleaning products need a do-over. Traditional cleaners and soaps comprise 98% water, but get shipped all over the world, often in plastic bottles. Not only do single-use plastics clog our oceans, shipping water around the world contributes significantly to carbon emissions.

With it's minimalist design and joyful brand, Tirtyl is a breath of fresh air. Their just-add-water products eliminates unnecessary waste without compromising on quality.

Tune into this episode to hear what led May to build conviction to found Tirtyl!
